This beautifully curated booklet was produced for the Historic Homes and Buildings of Tyler photography exhibition, presented at the Tyler Museum of Art from January 11 – February 25, 1979. The exhibit celebrated the architectural heritage of Tyler, Texas, featuring remarkable homes and public buildings constructed between 1850 and 1979—many of which no longer stand today.

Inside, readers will find miniature reproductions of the original photographs, each accompanied by historical background and details on the architectural styles and design elements that define the region’s rich past. The booklet showcases structures from five significant architectural eras:

• Victorian (1870 – 1900)
